Subsidence is the whole process of the ground beneath a residence collapsing or shrinking and impacting its foundations. The opposite is named heave where by the ground underneath expands pushing the foundations up. In either case The end result is part of the property transferring resulting in cracks to look in the partitions. It's not similar to
